Q: What do you love most about your job?

Working with people, pupils, parents and colleagues. Your role changes every day and there are endless opportunities to branch off into different responsibilities. If you work hard this is the most rewarding job out there.

Q: What do you like least about your job?

The bureaucracy, there is a lot of red tape, which is usually justified, however it still interferes with delivering the best education to the majority of pupils.

Q: What are the most important skills you need to successfully do your job?

Excellent work ethic, passion, empathy, confidence and a sense of humour.

Q: What two pieces of information do you wish someone had told you at the start of your career?

"When you enter the classroom treat it like a stage, put on an act" and "Always maintain the highest expectations"
